Additional EUROMAR Grants for Postgraduate Students and Academic/Industrial Postdoctoral Fellows (CLOSED)
Thanks to recently received financial support, EUROMAR is extending its fellowship’s deadline until April 25, 2012. These grants will include a waiving of registration costs, plus a travel allowance of up to €200 (depending on distance to the conference site). New grants are available for registered PhD students, and postdoctoral fellows in academic / industrial / research institutions within 5 years of receiving PhD. Applicants must be presenters of a poster or requesters of an oral presentation, and should present an identification verifying their student/postdoctoral status. A letter of reference from the doctoral or postdoctoral advisor (as corresponding to the current status of the applicant) must be received simultaneously by this date. To compete for these new grants, applicants must submit an abstract and brief bio-data in pdf format (single document, max 2 pages, firstname_secondname.pdf) electronically to admin.euromar@ucd.ie by 25th April. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered.
Students who have already applied for AMPERE and EUROMAR grants will automatically be considered for these new grants. All applicants will be informed of the outcome of this competition by May 15, 2012.

Travel bursaries are available for postgraduate students based in any University or Research Institute in Spain, and members of the NMR group, to attend EUROMAR 2012.

EUROMAR and AMPERE Student Grants (CLOSED)
There will be several EUROMAR and AMPERE student grants (€ 250) are available for PhD students to attend the EUORMAR 2012 in Dublin. To be considered for such a grant, students need to electronically submit their abstract for a poster presentation or a contributed talk together with a letter from their supervisor or the graduate school. The letter should confirm the student status of the applicant. In exceptional cases, master students or equivalent are eligible for these grants but postdoctoral fellows are not considered for EUROMAR and AMPERE awards. For master students, supervisor should state her/his strong support for the grant application. The abstract along with the recommendation letter from the supervisor should be submitted electronically before the closing date, April 1, 2012.
