Abstract Submissions                                                                                   

Abstract Submissions are now closed. If you are an invited or plenary speaker who must still submit a abstract, please email info@euromar2012.org for more information on how do this.

Thereafter, abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and a decision reached on acceptance. Only one abstract per presenting author, who must be a registered delegate or student, should be submitted.

To submit an abstract, you need to be registered as a user on the abstract system. This is separate from the Conference Registration system. Once you have registered in the abstract system, an email is immediately sent to the email address supplied, confirming your registration and your chosen password. 

Once you are registered you may log into the abstract submission system, in which you are asked to complete the process in steps. You will be asked separately for the title, authors, abstract content, etc.  When you are working online, you can save your entries at any time, leave the system and then re-enter to complete. Please note one of the conditions of submission is that authors give their permission for the conference office to modify the font or layout of their abstract, if necessary, for printing purposes.

Abstract template

You must use the abstract template provided which is in Arial, font size 10, single spacing. You do not need to enter any author details in the abstract template as this information is entered online during the submission process. You must not alter the template as to do so may modify your abstract as it will appear in the conference publication. Your abstract document must be saved as .doc file – other formats will be rejected (including .docx, please double-check). All text must be included within the box for the abstract; you may include images also within the box. Please ensure that all images are the correct resolution for printing, i.e. 300dpi. Maximum file size: 2Mb. The abstract template can be downloaded below and it will also be emailed to you, once you register on the abstract system.

Notification

Oral presenters will be confirmed by 1st June.
Poster presenters will receive confirmation by 8th June.
Abstracts that are not selected for oral presentations will be considered for a  poster presentation.
